Motivated... why would I want to screw up a good thing

every hour of every day I'm learning more
the more I learn the less I know about before
the less I know the more I want to look around
Digging deep for clues on Higher ground........ UB40

Why do we quest to learn more? For some insane reason there is a movement in metro areas to learn as much as possible. These people think that through enlightenment comes superiority. Unfortunately it seems that the trend to learn more has not created superiority, it has instead created arrogance and immorality. So much so that in these areas the numbers are so great that people that think "differently " are afraid to speak up for fear of verbal lynching or severe social outcasting, to the point of physical harm to them or thier belonings, and this is enlightened and informed.

What is the state of America lest Humanity when we decide that to celebrate an event we destroy. to oppose an event we destroy. I will explain what I call the "Reverse Ghandi" in future posts.

It seems that a popular trend is to decide that we have so much knowledge that we no longer "need" religeous institution or the need for accountability. We are therefore "enlightened" to the point of knowing better than all of the people that came before us or all of those "ignorant" middle Americans that live in a "backwards society".

I have to think that there is something to this "blue collar" mentality. Otherwise at what point can we achieve contentment. Is it at the point that we are to old to enjoy it? I am starting to migrate towords contentment hopefully. Only then can I selfishly enjoy my life. Why should I worry about the choices my neighbors make, until it effects me. wait, reflect.

Then should I take the labor job that barely make ends meet, raise some offspring, retire on my slim pension, die and leave nothing for the kids as they live the same life course. I mean after all, being sucessful can't happen for eveyone who tries, and in failure you will end up in the same place as your neighbor. At least I could buy a house on the damn salary I make.

Rant complete

and the beat goes on

Or so it goes.

Just starting to get the hang of blogging, so here goes.

Wanted to talk about the flu shot. Who cares? when I was a kid I had the flu like every year, still ticking. okay so like 30K-40K people die from the flu each year, and most of them are elderly or infants, what happened to population control. What do people want, everyone to live forever? would get a little crowded. you might have to start wars just to kill a few thousand people off so that the line at the local starbucks would be a little quicker.

After all the largest killer of them all is something we choose to do anyway, smoke. Smoking attributes to the death of 3 million people a year worldwide, almost 500,000 domestically. Now researchers are saying that they are close to finding a permanent cure to nicotine addiction (that would let you smoke without the addiction) but does that matter, or are people going to chose to smoke anyway. Personally I think they will continue to smoke "because I want to, not because I have to". We will talk more about his later.

Did you ever stop to think that there is a reason we can't find a cure for so many diseases? Maybe they were given to us by a higher power purely from the standpoint of population control. And also interesting is how something like AIDS is spread. Is it possible for me to get? sure. Is it likely? dont think so. I guess this is a gamble you take when entering into situations that expose you to these elements.

On the lighter side, I am working on a show for comedy central that seems like a cross between The Man Show , G4, and Geek Squad.

Just like all of the rest, we will see how this does.

Just met Gavin MacLeod of the Clan O' Love Boat.

He has Arrived in a strech limo, black, and proud. (The Limo not Gavin)

He is actually the second crew member of "The Boat" that has been graced with my technology. After Washington I thought I might never see another, but alas I was wrong.

yo yo yo... day 1

It is at this moment that all thoughts transpire gently throughout our creative vortex. At any given moment have you experienced the thought about thinking about what am I thinking about. This is the state of self awareness that seperates us from the primordial existence of other creatures.
